I’m a 27 year old creative from Amsterdam with a passion for branding and advertising. I design and develop creative solutions that excite, delight and make this world a better place. Currently I’m about to finish the Interactive Art Director Program at Hyper Island in Stockholm. People say I’m spontaneous and positive minded. “Jelle is spontaneous and positive minded.” –mum (2016).

Hyper Island taught me to challenge problems from a much broader perspective by working with Branding, Business Transformation, Service Design, UX and Technology. I learned about self leadership and facilitating effective teams. The process taught me how to reflect, not just on myself and my work, but also on this rapidly changing world. This has triggered a mindset to continue learning every day.

At MediaMonks I create digital creative concepts for global brands and agencies.
I combine new technology, art direction and brand strategy to deliver creative digital solutions wether it’s an integrated campaign, an installation, rich media, AR or VR.

I have experience working with clients such as: adidas, Netflix, Mercedes, Amazon, IBM, RedBull, Philips, Heineken and many more.

Before Hyper Island I worked as a freelance creative with clients such as The Walt Disney Company, ING and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. I learned  the professional skills to build and maintain client relationships, to set expectations and how to deliver value. I also worked as an in-house designer and photographer at Stage Entertainment, Europe’s largest producer of musical theatre. I defined creative ideas and executed them in a fast-paced commercial environment.
